About Bob Ballard
Bob Ballard has written three books: 'National Police Force: The Cleanup Begins,' 'National Police Force: The Partnership,' and 'National Police Force: When Evil Men Gather.' All are fast-paced, high-energy vigilante thrillers brimming with suspense and drama. The 4th book in the series, 'The Burly Man's Smile,' is scheduled for release on November 15, 2026.
Bob Ballard was born and raised in Houston, Texas. While attending the University of Houston, he wrote many short stories and poems, several of which his professors recommended for publication.
As a young person, Ballard observed the rise of violent crime in Houston. He was personally affected by this violence, losing two childhood friends to murder. As the crime rate continued to climb—not only in Houston but nationwide—Ballard's frustration increased. Now an adult, he was upset by a dysfunctional and sometimes corrupt criminal justice system, which had contributed to the escalation of violence. He also felt deep sympathy for the victims and their families, who were often left physically and emotionally scarred. Their pleas for justice too often went unheard.
These books are dedicated to the victims of the flawed justice system in the United States. The author sincerely hopes his novel will help their pleas for justice rise above the loud laughter of criminals released by a broken system.
